We seek to embody the inclusive love of God in Christ through worship, intentional faith development, community, radical hospitality, outreach/mission and extravagant giving.

Foundational Values

Bremerton United Methodist Church is committed to excellence in its ministries, building on these foundational values:

• We are worship centered.

  • We are strengthened and transformed by gathering for Word, Sacrament and corporate prayer of worship

• We are pastorally connected.

  • We all give and receive pastoral care in our individual relationships and through various groups like care-giving, prayer chains and visiting ministries.

  • We prize learning, working to know the mind and will of God through Scripture, Tradition, Experience and Reason. (The Wesleyan Quadrilateral)

  • In the service of this maturing, relevant, action-oriented faith, we seek to grow in membership as well as in resourceful, prayerful and collaborative service to our neighborhood and the world.

  • We believe that part of our giving to the church is through gifts, our money and our time. It is a part of our growing relationship with God.
