Children are essential members of our church family.
During our worship service, an activity table for young children is located in the rear of the Sanctuary with quiet toys to play with. A volunteer is also at the table to participate with relevant coloring illustrations to learn about God.
To ensure your child's safety, we run background checks on all of our children's ministry volunteers. You can worship at Bremerton UMC with confidence that your children will be well cared for!
On the second and fourth Sunday of the month, a portion of the church service is set for the children to come up to the front of the Sanctuary to listen to a message about God. Although we do not currently have Sunday school, we hope to build a program with appropriate activities where children can experience God’s abundant and unconditional love. We believe that children should grow up knowing they are loved, cherished, accepted, valued, and celebrated for who they are.
